I must say that service at the Marriott was excellent!
Food was very good - though I didn’t get to eat... Haha... Everyone else said it was good and portions were excellent!
Dance floor was wonderful - added to the joy and excitement of many present.
Most importantly, my friends who had to work with the hotel staff had only praises for the 2 staff assigned to us. (For the life of me, I cannot recall their names! I think its Aijay and Sunny) But my friends said that they were the best support staff ever!
For the whole process, you had made our experience totally hassle free and thank you for seeing to the little details.

Please accept our heartiest thanks and appreciation for Marriott – entire banquet and wedding team and your commitment, effort and diligence hard work from the first discussion, for entire planning and preparation, solemnisation, banquet up till our check-out.
We really enjoy the moments spent at Marriott, including the ease of check-in/out, selection/freshness/preparation of food, the cleanliness of hotel suite, coordination for the march-ins/stage /songs/slide show and table photo taking (there is a waitress helping Juanjuan with her gown so she can move at ease), the thoughtfulness of the carpark valet (it was raining when we checked out and this tall (probably 1.9m) guy provided umbrella and directed our car to a sheltered space for pick up so not much get wet and with least inconveniences).
Again, thank you as we know that without your valued support and commitment, our guests and ourselves would not have been able to have enjoyed so much for this wedding evening given the short time from initial meet up to actual day.

Apologies for the very late reply as we have been very busy since our wedding.
Our wedding experience at Marriott was a fantastic one, and in fact, the memory is still very fresh in our minds. I would like to commend the banquet crew for their excellent service. There were in fact no complaints from my guests. They felt that the food was good, the banquet staff were polite and attentive, and that the ballroom was very nicely done up. I would also like to compliment the banquet manager, Joseph Arokiasamy, for always been ready to meet our needs. My wife and I really appreciate how he would regularly arrange for honey water to be served to us without us asking for it. That was a really nice gesture of service.
We would also like to thank you for helping us make everything happen. Thank you for listening to our needs and going the extra mile to tend to our requests, even when it meant having to wake up on a Sunday morning to answer my phone call. We truly appreciate every bit of your effort.

It’s been a wonderful & joyful solemnization event and we are happy with the service that Marriott has given us over the last few months & on the actual day.
My guest and us have enjoyed the event and they even have commented that the dishes are great, especially the serving on the mango pudding, it looks nice & presentable which is different from ordinary banquet.
We would like to thanks all the staffs of Marriot for helping us, especially Ms Christine Wang. Ms Christine has been a great help to us during some small hiccup on my actual day and she even prepared floral arrangement at the pool terrace decoration (which we did not expect). She has really made my solemnization a small yet grand one. Thank you Christine!!!
And not forgetting Ah Leong, Banquet Captain, who coordinated and took care of the smallest details and ensured that the event smoothly. Thank you Leong!!!

My wife and I, just got married at the Marriott Hotel (Singapore) two weeks ago on, 14 March 2011. We would like to thank everyone at the Marriott for helping us to make our wedding banquet preparation and celebration very enjoyable for our guests and stress-free for ourselves.
To start off, we cannot stress enough how much Michelle Fong has done for us from the very start. Her enthusiasm, jovial nature and professionalism displayed inspired my wife and me sign with Marriott. She was very patient and efficient, making the process as painless as possible especially when it got very hectic and at some point, very dreaded. She was very accommodating to our unusual requests and made sure that the focus was on us, supported what our idea of a perfect wedding banquet was instead of suggesting what a wedding banquet should be. Below are some of the details of how Michelle had assisted us:
1) Organized food tasting before signing any contract with the Marriott,
2) Always made time for us and answered all queries promptly,
3) Did not brush us off when we initially had some ridiculous requests (Guitar Hero), and
4) We always felt welcomed and well-supported by her.
Secondly, Jerom, who was the overall in-charge of the banquet, was very warm. My wife and I were, at the start of the banquet, feeling extremely overwhelmed and his easy-going nature rubbed off on us, calming us down. We were very tickled with the way he constantly assured us that everything was going fine, how we looked or we marched in, danced "gracefully" (despite us having laughed and fumbled through almost the entire sequence), and giving us honey water. He was omnipresent, giving us time and space for my wife and myself to mingle with our guests, and at times, politely telling us that it is time for a wardrobe change. In short, he did a fantastic job at overseeing the entire event and we are ever thankful.
Next, having been to a few wedding banquets, my wife and I were very particular over servers serving or walking around during the video montage or speeches. Despite not communicating this to Suresh K and Leong beforehand, they made sure that the servers did not do that. With that, we are thoroughly appreciative for the initiative. Our guests, some of whom are hoteliers, were also very impressed by speed and attentiveness of the servers.
There were three key aspects to our wedding banquet that was considered of upmost important - the video, the music to be played for the walk-ins and during dinner, performance by our friends. We understand that before banquet commenced, there were some issues that needed to be ironed out causing us to be stressed out. However, Ruba saw to it that each of these aspects was executed perfectly.
Finally, we would like to commend the Chef(s) and cooks of Wan Hao Restaurant. Both of us come from families of picky eaters, some have been disappointed by Marriott banquets in the past. However, most of our guests were thoroughly impressed by the food served during the banquet. In fact, we had guests (again, especially those who are hoteliers) who considered the food to be one of the best or better than average than most banquets they have attended. Our guests particularly liked the fish in HK style, the juiciness of the crispy chicken, the unique taste of the Hashima soup and aesthetics of the mango pudding.
Individually each of these members performed their duties impeccably, and as a team they delivered a wedding banquet beyond anything that we could ever imagine.
The only minor disappointment for the wedding banquet was that my wife and I did not get to enjoy the food served as we were too busy entertaining guests.
